Don Cheadle Wins Golden Globe For Best TV Comedy Actor

On Sunday night, Don Cheadle won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series for his role on the Showtime hit House of Lies.

The television series, in its second season, was created by Matthew Carnahan and is based on the book, House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn. It follows the life of a highly successful cutthroat management consultant, Marty Kaan, played by Cheadle.

This is Cheadle’s second Golden Globe. His previous win was for the Best Supporting Actor in a TV Miniseries in 1999 for his role in The Rat Pack.
