WATCH: New ‘Dear White People’ PSA

If you haven’t checked out Dear White People yet, you’re in luck.

The highly anticipated indie film, which made its box-office debut last Friday in 11 theaters racking up nearly $350,000, will expand to theaters nationwide this Friday, October 24.

To build up momentum for the movie, the team–including director Justin Simien, producer and JET 40 Under 40 star Lena Waithe–released hilarious, yet poignant PSAs addressing racial issues.

And now they’ve delivered a new one in the tone of the popular State Farm/Auto Insurance commercials while addressing those who, well, as their tagline reads, “just kinda weren’t thinking.”

Check out their latest sketch and let us know if you’ll be heading to the theater this weekend!
