Dame Dash Loses Custody Battle
While Dame Dash is on a road trip “looking at cool sh– and listening to good music” with his current beau, the Interwebs are circulating with reports that the former Roc-A-Fella CEO just lost custody of his daughters, 15-year-old Ava and six-year-old Tallulah.
According to TMZ, Rachel Roy, Dash’s ex-wife and mother of his girls, attended a court hearing earlier today, and walked out with full custody of both girls. Dame, who was absent during the proceedings, received supervised visitation.
The custody battle hasn’t been pretty with Dash documenting the case on his Instagram account. Both parents accused each other of being unfit. Earlier this month, the parental feuding made headlines when Rachel accused Dash of kidnapping the girls and called the cops.
Roy, a fashion designer and former Roc-A-Wear intern, claimed that Dame smokes weed around the girls and is a bad influence. She also noted that the girls miss school often when in his care and filed a three-year restraining order against Dame.
Dame made accusations that his ex drove drunk with the children in the car and threatened him.
These stories are always sad. We just hope that the messiness ends and the children are the top priority.
