Dame Dash Faces $7 Million Roc-A-Fella Lawsuit

It appears that the fellas of “The Roc” still have some unfinished business.

Dame Dash, a founding partner of Roc-A-Fella records along with Jay-Z, has been ordered by a Manhattan federal judge to be deposed in a $7 million dollar lawsuit involving the royalties stemming from the Roc-A-Fella Records’ logo, one of the most recognizable logos in the music industry.

Dwayne Walker, the plaintiff, claims that he designed the famous logo, and entered a $3,500 deal in 1994 that also gave him two-percent of the company revenue for 10 years.

The complaint is that he only received the $3500.

While Jay-Z is still being pursued  by Walker’s attorney, Greg Berry, to also give a deposition, his lawyer stated that the music and business mogul has no recollection of Walker and that he would never have agreed to a royalty deal.

This could get interesting – especially if Jay is called to testify.
