LISTEN: Cozz Drops ‘Who Said’ + BJTCK & Pusha T
Dreamville is rising and fans can plan to hear a lot more music coming from the J. Cole-fronted crew.
Omen released his debut album, Elephant Eyes, in the summer of 2015, and Bas featured Cole his “Night Job” single.
Next up is Cozz. The 23-year-old emcee is gearing up for the drop of his free mixtape, Nothin’ Personal, a 2014 follow-up to his Cozz & Effect LP.
Produced by Meez, the Cali-rapper’s latest song, “Who Said,” pays homage to Tupac while reminding folk of his ability and ambition to be the greatest in the game.
Dreamville isn’t the only pack stirring the pot and coming with heat. G.O.O.D. Music is, too.
On the heels of his Darkest Before Dawn album, Pusha T gifts us with the visuals for “M.P.A.”
The track features The-Dream, A$AP Rocky and Kanye West. All but Yeezy join the Virginia-native for the video that documents the day in the life of a rap star.

BJ The Chicago Kid is honoring one of his favorite artists – D’Angelo.
Commemorating the release of the classic track “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” the “Church” singer hopped in the studio to record his rendition of the ballad. He also put his spin on – “Always in my Hair” and “Send It On.”
“His [D’Angelo] musicality is beyond this world,” the crooner said in a press release. “I had to celebrate his genius by paying homage to his legacy while he continues to kill the game and make great music. It’s a new year and there’s no better way to start it off than taking it back to where it all began for me. This is real soul/R&B.”
