Comic Book Honors Whitney Houston’s Life

Comic books are typically reserved for superheroes, not superstars. But some may say this woman was a hero in her own right.

In celebration of what would’ve been Whitney Houston’s 50th birthday Friday, Aug. 9, the world will get to see her like we’ve never her before: in cartoon form!

Earlier this week, Bluewater Productions released a comic book titled Tribute: Whitney Houston, chronicling the late singer’s life. The 32-page booklet, written by Raphael Moran and drawn by Kirk Feretzanis, tells the story of Whitney’s life from its promising start to its untimely end.

As readers flip through the colorful pages, they will get to relive some of the fallen star’s most memorable moments from rising star to becoming a worldwide musical icon to her taking her final bow.

Check out a few pages from the comic book below and tell us if you’ll be buying it!
