‘It Comes At Night’ Is The Horror Film You Must See This Weekend

It Comes At Night is set to hit the box office this weekend, and if you’re looking to get scared half to death, it’s obviously a must-watch!

There are a ton of amazing horror films that are headed to the box office this summer, and one of the most terrifying of the summer is Trey Edward Shults’ It Comes At Night. The psychological horror flick is set in the near future after an unnatural threat terrorizes the world. Secure within a desolate home, a man with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge. Despite the best intentions of both families, paranoia and mistrust boil over as the horrors outside creep ever-closer, awakening something hidden and monstrous within him as he learns that the protection of his family comes at the cost of his soul.

Loving’s Joel Edgerton, Selma’s Carmen Ejogo and relative newcomer Kelvin Harrison Jr. portray the family struggling to adapt to life in the aftermath of the cataclysmic event. Check out the horrifying trailer below which is full of tension and a great deal of doom and dread. According to the trailer, “Paranoia is just a kind of awareness, and awareness is just another form of love.”

It Comes At Night hits theaters on June 9th. Will you be checking out the film when it drops into theaters? If you ask us, the film is bound to give us nightmares for weeks on end, however, it’ll be fun to watch.
