Chance The Rapper Heads T.I.P. Fest for Teens

Chicago-based artist Chance the Rapper announced that he is organizing a festival solely for teenagers.

The festival will feature performances by Surf’s Donnie Trumpet and Chicago “bop king” DLow. The first annual Teens In Parks festival will be free and open to the public, ages 13-24. Adult chaperones will also be present.

In addition to the music lineup, The Art Institute and Donda’s House will offer lessons to attendees who have interests in grafitti art, break dancing, jewelry making and fashion design.

The festival takes place at the FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on June 24. To register for the event, hit up Live Nation’s site here.

Mad props to Chance for bringing something positive to the city of Chicago and actively engaging our youth.
