CeeLo Green Deletes Questionable Rape Tweets
Things aren’t looking good for CeeLo Green.
The Voice coach temporarily suspended his Twitter account on Tuesday following controversial rape comments.
According to Billboard, Green deleted his account on Monday after tweeting ““People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!”
And “If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent.”
His Twitter account has since been restored minus the questionable tweets.
The singer-songwriter recently pleaded no contest to a case where he was accused of supplying ecstasy to a date in 2012.
Also on Tuesday, TBS canceled Green’s reality show The Good Life. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the decision was based on poor performance ratings and not Green’s controversial tweets.
