‘Black Trump’ Pokes Fun At GOP Candidate
Donald Trump has said some pretty outlandish things during his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, like building a wall along the Mexican border, and banning all Muslims from entering the country. Now his bombastic rhetoric are the basis for a bangin’ new track.
On the Daily Show, correspondent Roy Wood, Jr. has regularly skewered the candidate because of his over-the-top personality, even arguing that Trump’s campaign slogans are ripped from a “rapper’s play book.”
“Trump doesn’t belong in the White House. Donald Trump belongs in a rap video,” Wood told Daily Show host Trevor Noah Thursday night. “Everything Trump says is straight out of a rapper’s play book. He brags about his money, he’s disrespectful to women, and there’s always fights at his concerts.
“You could make an entire rap song with just Donald Trump quotes,” Wood argued. “All you need is a dope beat.”
Well, it looks like Wood found one.
In “They Love Me,” the comedian dons a blond toupée and uses Trump’s own words as the basis for a song.
While Trump has said some pretty crazy things this election cycle, they sound even more foolish over a beat.
