Beyoncé Takes Oprah’s Top Spot on Forbes List

Rutgers University to begin offering course on Beyonce.

Beyoncé has creeped up the Forbes list and claimed the number-one spot, bumping former reigning queen Oprah down to fourth place.

Unexpectedly dropping her self-titled “visual album” at the end of last year and playing at 95 different shows across the world, it’s crystal clear that Queen Bey runs the world.

Need further proof?

She brought in $2.4 million per stop just from touring, and her “Drunk in Love” single was declared platinum with more than 1 million copies sold.

Still not enough?

Between her endorsement deals with H&M and Pepsi, her fragrance line that features three different perfumes and her clothing company “House of Dereon,” it is estimated that the star earned $115 million between June 1, 2013 and June 1, 2014.

And the powerhouse is showing no signs of slowing down as she just launched her On the Run tour with hubby Jay Z last week.
