Beyoncé Slays MTV Video Music Awards Noms

Beyoncé has completely slayed the music and marketing game for 2016. Now, the queen joins the likes of Drake, Adele, Justin Beiber and Kanye West as one of the nominees for the coveted “Video of The Year” award for this year’s MTV VMAs.

The reveal of this year’s nominees came in a very artsy way. MTV directed fans to its Facebook page to view a live stream, which broke down all the artists up for awards. At the end, a colorful, panoramic mural unveiled the “Video of The Year” nominees.

Not only was Beyonce’s Lemonade the hottest visual album to hit the Interwebs, but with eleven nominations for the project, it also marks her career-best!

Adele’s jump back in the scene with “Hello,” which garnered eight nominations. Drake’s meme-worthy visual for the trendy “Hotline Bling” racked up hits, along with Kanye’s creative and controversial “Famous,” and Justin Beiber’s “Sorry”.

The 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards” airs LIVE from New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
