Filmmaker Sour Over Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’
Filmmaker Matt Fulks filed a lawsuit against Beyoncé and her label with claims that she stole the “Lemonade” visual concept from his 2014 short film, Palinoia. According to TMZ, Fulks claims his film also depicted a tumultuous relationship.
His issue is with about 39 seconds of Bey’s “Lemonade” trailer, which shows imagery of a vacant parking lot, weeds and grass, gloomy steps, and intense close-ups.
Yep…apparently no one has ever thought to use those spaces in creative works until Fulks came along.
But you damn skippy Mr. Fulks wants Bey and crew to fork over a nice cut of the profits made from the successful album.
Bruh…if you wanted more eyeballs on your short film, you’re going to get it and then some because this is ridiculous.
