A look at Black stars on the red carpet at the Oscars.

Welcome to Beauty School!  Every Monday, JET experts will teach you how to preserve your sexy.  This week, make-up and hair expert Dre Brown shares tips for getting red carpet-worthy looks from brown bombshells.

Hollywood’s community of big-screen beauties has never looked so bodacious . . . so fierce . . .  so breathe-taking . . .  nor SO BROWN!

With now more starlet sisters setting the tone of hair, makeup, and skincare trends for the mainstream, everyone is eager to try their looks on for size. I did some digging and discovered some of the go-to products used by the hottest brown girls in TV and film and their trusted professionals. Then I put on my “drugstore diva” hat and compiled a hearty list of frugally fab buys you can use to get the looks of these glamazons on a not-so-Hollywood budget.

It’s time for your close-ups, lovelies! Enjoy . . .
