Kehlani’s come up as a makeup gawdess has been too real. The underground R&B singer turned global star has been stepping up her appearance over the last couple years in the spotlight, off and on Instagram. She has become an alternative style and beauty inspiration while we were deliberating about who she was or wasn’t dating. The singer has also been fully transparent about her skin issues, mental health, and outsider mentality. Kehlani has taken the beauty risks that we all pin on Pinterest, but never have the guts to execute, and its been all about bold and vibrant color. She’s cut it all off, threw some dye on it, and even got herself some weave for a glam look.

anuva one… and anuva one lmao

Makeup Forever has simultaneously has been leading the way regarding making beauty a political statement. Thier recent campaign, #BlendInStandOut, was an internet fave that has made the rounds on our timeline for being a progressive representation of beauty. It makes all the sense that Makeup Forever would tap Kehlani on the shoulder to be the face of their revamped Aqua XL liquid liners and color pots that have a whole new formula. The Aqua XL Liquid Liners are still super-long-wearing, waterproof and sweat-proof in 15 colors. There’s matte, metallic, and gloss finishes so you can make any look happen in true Kehlani-style. The liners are available now from for $21.
