Love and Hip Hop star Mendeecees Harris pleaded not guilty on a drug conspiracy charge in federal court that could land him in prison for a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.
Harris – who is also the boyfriend of fellow LHH star Yandy Smith – is one of three men accused of roles in a pipeline of heroine and cocaine between Rochester and New York City from 2005 to 2012. Harris’ brother, Tyrus Harris, and Ronald Walker were arrested last year and are jailed awaiting trial. They also pleaded not guilty.
Police seized $1.5 million in cash, a 2012 Land Rover, and more than $406,000 in jewelry.
Harris was recently acquitted of aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, and child endangerment from accusations of sleeping with a 15-year-old girl.
While girlfriend Yandy was supportive of him during his last trial, we wonder if she’ll remain his “ride or die” for this one.
