Registered nutritionist and celebrity trainer Robert Ferguson gives the skinny on popular extreme diets and how they can actually wreak havoc on your health.
Some weight watchers are seeking a slimmer body via a small piece of medical plastic stitched onto the tongue that’s meant to make chewing painful and difficult.
Dangers: “That’s absolutely horrible and disempowering,” exclaims Ferguson. “You risk malnutrition, feelings of disorientation and the loss of essential lean muscle.”
