This past weekend, the Chicago History Museum opened its latest exhibition – titled  “Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair” – honoring the traveling fashion show that brought European couture fashions to the African-American community. “The World’s Largest Traveling Fashion Show” was launched in 1958 by producer and director Eunice Walker Johnson of the Johnson Publishing Company. Curated by Joy Bivins, the exhibit will be on display until Jan. 5, 2014.
